Singer Tamia is back on the scene, but she’s not intimidated about her return to music.
While others might be nervous about a music industry that’s almost as much about what people see as what they hear, Tamia said she actually feels more empowered.
“The surprise is that after six years I have this project now. It’s sorta my baby. And it’s a beautiful surprise: my fifth album,” she told S2S Publisher Jamie Foster Brown.

Today, Soul Train announced its nominees for ‘Best Independent R&B/Soul Artist or Group’ and Tamia was of the finalists!! Congrats Tamia!
The winner of this category will be decided by an online vote to launch in the coming month.
